You can't get rid of the protection on the tape, that is permanent. What you have to do is disable the copyright protector in the DVD recorder. If you do a search on the internet for your model of DVD recorder with the words "Copyright Protection" or "Copyright Hack" or similar, you should get something. But please be aware that this is illegal.
