I have a Mower with a Briggs & Stratton engine that starts no problem but has no power it revs and dies constantly as if you are putting your foot on the accelerator and then taking it off constantly. Any advice appreciated
This is a diaphram problem .This is a gasket type devise which is available online (shoulders of shoreham ) for example or from any good gardening mower shop .You have to undo carb screws and undo fuel tank screws .Diaphram fits between carb and tank .Tiny holes in diaphram have caused problem .diaphram usually costs about £6 . Diy job

ine was the same. stripped it down to find the gasket between the carb and tank was damaged. checked with the local repair shop who said that these gaskets go every couple of years. bought new gaskets for about £3.50 - yet to fit them. Hopefully it will solve the problem

most briggs and stratons 3.5 dont have and kind of adjustment on the carb...most likely to me it sounds like you might have a blocked air filter or it could be blocked fulel line or fuel filter
