WASHING MACHINE HOOVER 1600 AAA WHISPER?

WE HAVE HAD PROBS WITH THE ERROR CODE 1,2,3, AND THE ENGINEER HAS COME OUT TO UNBLOCK THE FILTER WHICH HAD VERY LITTLE IN AND THEN HAD ANOTHER ENGINEER TELL US THAT THE CIRCUIT BOARD NEEDS REPLACING.
IS THIS A QUITE STRAIGHT FORWARD JOB AND WHERE DO I GET THE PARTS FROM PLEASE.
I AM A MECHANICAL ENGINEER BUT HAVE NEVER PLAYED WITH WASHING MACHINES SO GUIDANCE WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

the curcuit board is a expensive peice of kit if your hoover is less than five years old it is still under warranty for parts so get hoover to do it as no one will refund you the cost of the board if it don't fix the problem
