power window stuck down?

bought same model car on monday same happend to mine the only way to fix it is unscrew the console from the door thst powers the window (the button u press for it to go up and down ) then find the live wire and the eath . take of the plastic coating to reveal the bare wires then use a jump start or car battery with the live terminal on the live wire and earth on earth and the window will rise up .... this is not a perminent fix only a temp 1 hope it works
