Mend Sony TA-AV480 Button Manually Remote

how can i fix my sony ta-av480 audio amplifier?

Power on/standby button does not operate either manually or using remote control.
remote control unit checked and working ok.
Standby led indication permanently on.
Have linked out terminals on back of on/standby switch but still no power up

There is probably a short circuit in the amplifier stages which has locked the amp in to a standby mode.You need to take it to a qualified repair agent for repair.
