Mend toshiba 27a42 Turn Manually Press

toshiba 27a42 keeps turning on and off?

recently my old 27inch toshiba 27a42 has been struggling just to turn on.i have to manually press the power button on my remote control a million times because it turns on but then a second later turns off by itself,it has now gotten to the point where i literally spent 30 minutes hitting the power on and power off button just to get it to stay on?any help would be appreciated.thanks

Hello I had the same problem with a SUPRAETECH TV model s1502t. I consulted my tech www.tvrepairjacksonvillefl.com and he told me that the trouble was a power supply false contact . You must check it.
