how to remove the rear diff on a ldv 400 van?

to remove diff you will need to remove both half shafts, disconnect propshaft, remove diff cover/pan, then undo and remove diff fixing bolts, you may have to prise out crown wheel assy,[-as there is a special casing spreader to release pre load on bearings], you will be left with pinion still in situ , remove pinion nut and remove pinion. to rebuild you will need special tools-not a d.i.y.job!
