my sabre he boiler will not ignite?

My sabre he boiler will not ignite dispite the green light still being on. The red light has not come on and the water pressure is fine. The boiler is only one year old.

Had British Gas around as part of our Homecar package - diagnosis is the pressure switch - 7 to 10 days order time. Oh and by the way we don't have your boiler on our service list any more so we are cancelling your Homecare agreement bye bye. (Please be aware of this we have had this agreement for two years - anyway that's another issue).

Had the same problem. Seems to be an issue with the differential pressure switch across the fan assembly. Disconnecting the silicon tubes, blowing and tapping them to make sure they are clear, then reconnecting seemed to do the trick.

It then failed again two days later but the same method got it going again. Not sure if the switch is faulty or the tube connections are partially blocked.

no it is no longer under warrenty. Have spoken to the manefactor who said a technition will look at it for £170.
