Mend Alpha Heating 240 Boiler

How can i fix it ?

hi to all, my combi boiler (alpha 240) starts heating up all the radiators in the house every time hot water or washing machine are used, althougt the selector switch is set on (hot-water) only and not on both (heating-hot water). any suggestion on what could be done? many thanks.

divertor valve not doing its job when you demand hot water. normally when you demand h/w the valve moves over from central heating position to divert the heated water through the plate h/w exchanger giving you hot water, but its either stuck or damaged and directing water through the heating system instead
