how to service my vokera combi boiler?

Hi Liam he charged €150 and told him he needed a new timer that he would get and arrange a sparky to wire it up whitch by the way a blind man could do.i drove down there last night and you guessed it not a problem with it except the tabs were in n out all over the place as my mate is elderly he didnt understand but hes ok now thanks.

I would certainly say that if your boiler is a permanent pilot then it should be serviced every year. I am a qualified Vokera agent and a full service is around £80 inc vat. If you hold current registration then you should be able to service without the MI's.

Fair play, its a toughy to say cos you have manufacturers destructions to follow or the general practice way in absence.

I always think its hard to justify a general service on a combi, think that might be why certain big companies call it annual safety check now.

i like doing a service on a bbf cos they need a clean and dismantling and checked where as combi, they generally get opened up to check inside, check seals in/on combustion internal, burner pressure, fsd check, check burner, h/ex etc. its more safety than replacing parts.

iain i am a fully qualified fitter corgi registered i actually build boilers i am also a coded welder asme9 6g/6gr all i wanted was a check list as i think a mate of mine down the country has been ripped off
