Mend Nissan NX Door Open

How can i fix a broken door on a 1989 Nissan Pulsar NX?

My passenger door doesn't open. You can't feel the hindge catch on anything

Nissan Nissan NX Vehicles, Cars Door Nissan Open

Take the panel off of your door. See if the little round metal bar that connects to your handle is set in place by a plastic rivet on your door. If it is not held in that place, then there will be slack in the bar causing it not to catch properly. You might have to buy or rig a new peice to hold the bar straight.
