iveco daily oil breather pipe is blowing out loads of oil ????

My 1983 Iveco Daily Camper suddenly started to smoke like an idiot until I just could reach a nissan dealer where the motor gave up.

I had lost 4 litres of Carter oil during one our of time. 2.5 litres was still left in the carter.

The membrane of the fuel-pump had become defective as a result of which carter oil was pumped together with diesel oil.

A new fuelpump solved the problem.

Now carter oil consumption is very good again and can hardly been measured
