Mend Toshiba Digital Recorder Stopped

The digital clock on my Toshiba HDD RD-XS24SB recorder has stopped?

The digital clock has stopped and despite many resets will not function. The reset time appears in the display window but will not operate. Has anybody got any suggestions . Many thanks
