Mend Caloric Heritage Series Gas Ignition Smell

My stove has a funny burning smell when not on! (Caloric-Heritage Series)?

There is a funny burning smell coming out of my oven when it is not on! It also takes awhile to start the main oven! Pilot light is on and gets larger when turning it up! So I don't know why it takes so long to start! Also my dryer is gas fired and has the same burning smell! Just wanted to know what you think it could be!

I too have a strange burning smell from my rangemaster cooker grill.
I guess it is basically down to an increasing problem.
That of making bigger and bigger profits by reducing production costs to a minimum.
thus lowering the quality of the product
