Grill stopped working - Diplomat Softline 720G?

Up until recently my grill was working fine - but has just suddenly conked out. I turn the gas knob and nothing happens - no smell of gas, no noise, no nothing.

I suspect that I will probably have to get someone in to fix it, but are there any checks that I could make on my own?

I would hate to get someone in only for it to turn out that it's something really simple that's happened.

Further info: the oven is working fine. The ignition inside the grill still sparks. All the hobs are working perfectly.

Just a dead grill.
