unless you really know what you are doing this is a job for an independant boiler repair speciallist. british gas will tell you its beyond repair and you cant get parts so they can try to push a new installation on you, in truth the only spare you cant get for these is the gas valve. though an independant tradesman may have kept a few gasvavalves in his stock.sometimes its just the earthing bracket and ignition electrode, they are usually repairable
