Mend Maytag Performa Washing Machine Motor

What is wrong with my washer?

I have a maytag performa washer and it will not spin or drain but the motor is running. Is it the belt...a pulley...or the pump??? Should I just buy a new one?

Take the back off and see if the belt is on the pulley first,if it is turn it and make sure the pulley shaft turns with the pulleys,it probably wont be the pump as the pulley drives the pump not the other way round,you know the parts so have a look,don't buy a new one,it isn't major by the sound of it.
