Mend Jura Impressa S90 Coffee Machine

Jura S90 getting loud when working?

I have a Jura Impressa S90 that is about 5 years old (S9 is new model). It still works great but makes more noise now when working. I took the top off and vacuumed out coffee grinds & put it back together. I noticed a lot of gearing inside the unit. Is there any type of lube that should be performed to keep the machine from wearing out?

Also I have been searching for a service manual (not operating manual) and cannot find one anywhere. Jura is now serviced by Capresso in the USA and they want $250 to open and do anything to the machine which I think is outrageous just for a service if nothing is broken.

Sorry I can't help. I'm also looking for the service manual. It seems to cost us over $300 to repair every 3 years or so--not counting the driving.

hi, my machine has given up though I feel the problem must be a minor one. I am also looking for the service-manual to see if I can fix it my self. Have had too many expenses on this machine because it got broken so often and if I cannot fix it now I'll definitely throw it away and will never buy a Jura again
