Where is the fuse box on my Vw Polo?

to get to the main fuse box,

1.open the drivers door

2.there is a panel to the right of the dash board...(where a closed drivers door would normally meet the dashboard)

3.there is the covering to the fuse box (its not that obvious but there is a small hole at the bottom of cover)

4.put a flat head screw driver in the hole and prize open

5.hoorah ! there are all the fuses - be careful when removing/replacing them to make a mental note of which fuse goes where and also work systematically !

my 2002 polo fuse box is located on top of the battery.

You have to take of 2 plastic covers to get there - hope it helps.

p.s. the plastic covers are removable and are designed to be put back with no major effort

The fuse box is under a cover at the right end of the dash bord, open the drivers door and you can see the cover at the end of the dash, prize it of and the fuses are under it, you will also find about 6 fuses under the batt cover in the engine bay.

There is a drop down box under the steering wheel. Once you've opened that, you can drop it down further to reveal the fuse box and relays. To access the fuses you will need to pull off the front cover of the black box covering the fuses. You will also find a table diagram showing the order of the fuses and what they are for.
