How do I fix my broken dishwasher?

I have a Magic Chef DU655OP dishwasher. All of a sudden the soap no longer is getting displaced properly. The dishes are not being cleaned. I'm thinking the water is not getting in properly, so the soap dispenser is not working as it shoould. Has anyone runinto this before?

sounds like you have a problem with the pump, shouldnt be too hard to fix, but make sure you get the exact same pump when replacing it
