How do I install the drive belt on my sears hp magnum garden tractor?

Lisa lets try to fix your mower OK? First thing please.Disconect the spark plugs befor you do anything. Now once you have done this you will have to remove the drive belt for the mower deck as it should be the one on bottom of the motor. You will need to lock the clutch peddle all the way forward This will release the tention on the drive belt. Look to see if in fact that the drive belt really needs to be replaced. Or if it just came off a pully. There will be a pully that the clutch peddle controls and one that is mounted on the body of the tractor. The one on the peddle it the one that puts tention on the drive belt. Check to make sure that you have it on right before putting everything back togather.Have some one release the clutch peddle and watch to see that it takes all the slack out of the belt. If it does than you have fixed it your self. Good luck and good mowing!
