Sony Trinitron tv just stopped working and won't turn on?
My 32 inch sony trinitron that i've had since 1991, model no. kv-27exr90, which has been a great tv with no problems, all of a sudden just turned itself off and now won't even turn on. Doesn't make a sound. It's plugged in etc. From what I've read these tvs have had problems over the years and this has happened. here's my question -- i really didn't want to spend money on a new tv now, but if it probably can't be fixed or it would cost so much then i will just get a new one. what is your advice? thanks so much. lura burton
logic tv has no power tried changin fuse in tv but keeps blowin.

I have a KV-10FRM20 model.
For years a have not used it. Recently I hook it up, and for a sort period it work fine, and now I have no picture, the sound is fine, the indicator red light is on.
Can you help?

I have a Sony 27 inch that had the picture just quit. It will power on and off but no picture comes back on.
The red sleep indicator will flash 4 tImes..then a few seconds later it does the same KEEPS RECYCLING..SEEMS TO ME THE SLEEP TIMER I.E.30, 60 MIN MUST BE LOCKED ON THE REMOTE.

Any ideas to fix this?

hi lura,unplug the tv & remove the back,then trace the power lead in to the circuit board & where it connect's to the board you will see a small fuse very close to it,change this fuse & re-assemble the tv in reverse order.(sometimes these fuses fail with age) then pl;ug it back in & try it, best of luck
