Mend Boiler Power Flush Hot Water

how can we clean old heating system?

is it safe to do power flush cleaning in 17 year old system. all pipe are 17 year old. boiler is not working every mim gas flame goes off. hot water comes and then cold with in a 30 sec.

3 person gave different advice.
