dismantle washing machine?

The directions shown by JP above are very accurate. My comments are do not remove any screws from the back of the machine. It's not only unnecessary but you will have have to replace them as they stabilize the control panel when you flip it backwards. Pull the cabinet (three sided) forward an inch or so then tilt forward til it rests on the floor.

Start by removing the screws in the console youmay have to take off the plastic end caps to view the screws. Once you have those off flip the console backwards and let it hang there. Unplug the three wired lid switch plug near the console. If you are standing in front of the washer stick a screwdriver in the front part of those metal clips and bend the top of the screwdriver back towards the panel to take them out. Then grab each side of the washer cabinet from in front. Pull/tilt it forward and the whole cabinet should come off.
