how can i fix my epson c86 printer?

Have an epson c86 printer, my wife printed some documents and wanted to stop the printing, she didnt know how to so turned the printer off. I then have turned the printer on and the 2 red lights flash from left to right, there is obviously power to the printer but no noises happen or the cartridges arent moving at all when you turn the machine on or off, i dont know what else to do ?
