Mend Vauxhall Frontera 2.4i Starts Runs Engine

vauxhall frontera 2.4i petrol 1993-over revving?

starts and runs well but once warm the engine then revs around 2000rpm and only drops once in a while - any ideas

Idle control valve sticking, remove it clean it with "carb" cleaner, they get gummed up with petrol deposits if you want the instructions for removing & refitting contact me nige110162@hotmail.co.uk & I'll mail them to you
