How to remove drain pump from hotpoint dishwasher df61?

I have the above dishwasher,do any one of you smart guys know how to remove the drain pump.Do you have to remove the base and if so how?

base has to be removed if you have big hands, i have to remove it. if thats the case i wont reply theres to much info needed for this, 50 percent of engineers shy away from these.

twist pump anti clockwise untill its hits plastic lug, push lug then twist again to release.
