Hi. I'm not a technician, but I had the same issue with mine and was able to fix it. According to the technical papers inside the washer (under the hood), there is no error 1. However, when you enter the service mode initially, it dispays t1 one. Perhaps you are seeing this. Look for this paper, you will need it.
In my case turning the knob to t2 yeilded an error code 70 (stuck key). This is the same code the technician (from Mr. Appliance in Spring, TX) quoted me $460 to fix. He said I needed a new control board. BTW, the boards are ~150 on the net.
I reset the code, and reseated all the connections on the board. Turned it off for a bit and it was fixed.
