i have phillips car 400?

i have just bought a 98 vectra and when i turn power on it comes up with safe i do not know the code for it and neither does the garage where i got it from please can any one help to what i should do next? or what i can do at all?

There are many shops that will decode your radio, costs about £12. Vauxhall can get the code but charge £25 and this service takes a few days, this will be of little benefit if the previous owner changed the code.
