how to mend my JVC in car cd player?

i have recently bought a JVC CD Receiver KD-G401 and have had it fitted, it worked fine most times but sometimes when you turn the wheel left it would pause and then start agaian and also sometimes it wouldnt play the track properly just skipping through and now it has complately gone, when you turn the wheel right is when it play and as the wheel straghtens the sound no longer comes out of the spewakers, the display is fine it is workin fully, i had someone reinstall it but the problem persist, do you tghink its a problem of the steering wheel?
