White knight 767c tumble dryer keeps tripping my electricity?

I cleaned the filter on my dryer and since then it will not work. It tells me to press the reset button at the back but all I can find is a round plastic circle that I have pushed in several times. I does not feel like a button and it has not fixed it. Everytime I turn it on, it last for 2 seconds and blows the elecricity in the house. Any ideas?

I was close to buying a new drier n thought I'd try googling as a last resort.

I removed the back panel and it had about half a pint of water in it. I emptied it and dried out the heating panel with a hair dryer and my tumble dryer is working very well now. No more tripping of electric circuit breakers.

you have got water in the element at the back by the sounds of it.remove the kidney shaped back panel and dry the heater out for 20 mins with hair dryer on full heat.this should stop it tripping
