Strong smell of smoke from my White Knight condenser dryer!!?

Thanks, I took the back off and I immediately saw charred lint in the heating element so hoovered it off and now we are smoke free!

This would be a job for an engineer, I cannot really tell you to go opening up the insides of your machine but if you do have someone who is able to carry this out safely then please do so.Make sure the plug is removed from the mains. Now it seems that either there is probably a large build up of fluff or lint inside the machine and most probably from where the element is. This should be cleaned out. If the burning smells electrical then most probably it is either the motor burning and if this is the case then an engineer is what you are going to need.
