HOW CAN I FIX MY OPTIMA XM?

I NEED TO CHANGE THE BATTERY IN MY CONTROL BOX HOW CAN I DO IT WITHOUT SETTING MY ALARM OFF, WHILST I FIND OUT WHICH BATTERY I NEED TO BUY. IN SHORT TO DISCONECT ALARM AND RESTART IT AGAIN
