My zanussi turbodry wdt 1085 will not drain and the door will not open?

the door on your machine is linked to a pressure device and will only open when the water is removed from the drum. take drain hose out of waste and lower hose to below drum level. if the water emptys in to bowl , either pump is blocked or needs replacing. if no water comes out of the hose this is a blocked hose or filter.

have you clean the filter out on the bottom left corner of machine?.if it has stopped with water in and you remove the filter bear in mind it will all come gushing out!!.drain excess water from machine by lowering the drain hose at back into a bowl and let water run away.if filter is clear could be something jammed in drain pump impellor or drain pump may have failed completely.will need to remove pump to check this fault
