how can I delete anser machine, it has a green light continuousely blinking, machine says, you have no messages, message 1, massage 2 message 3, but I cannot delete it, how can I do this, I dont believe this modell has a backup battery in the base as some do.
I have the same phone and the answer machine has stopped working despite it been set to ON , any ideas people ?

i used the phone , put it down, picked it up and a message saying "range out". Any ideas?

you need to press menu, then up arrow to show tam, press ok, then the downward arrow, it should show delete all, press ok. This has just worked for me anyway. Good luck, I know how frustrating it is.

If you press the R key then number 8 listen then press central button on the down arrow the menu will get to delete all, press ok button and it asks you to confirm then press ok button again
