how can i fix my renault clio speedometer?

just bought a s reg 1.2 clio panache and the speedo doesnt work... any ideas? could i do it myself?

Hi i had this problem on my wife's w reg 1.2 clio. I replaced he speedo sensor which can be found mounted on top of the diff. It's easy to change just twist and pull. Secound hand units will set you back about £20.
