Mend Renault Clio 1.5dci Electrical

my lights turn themsleves off????

I have a 2003 renault clio 1.5dci billabong.it has started turning the lights off by itself,not very funny on a dark m1 at six am! the indicator/wiper stalks don't work either.after about a minute they come back on and everything works fine again but i have no technical knowledge at all and now winter is here,i really need a speedy answer please.

sorry for the delay in replying,i checked the fuses tonight,they seem fine,i wonder if its a loose power wire going to the steering column as it seems to be affecting everything on the stalks,or maybe a flasher unit? thank you for your reply by the way :)

check the fuse for the lights make sure that its in its socket tight, might be makeing contact, then not makeing contact, or the switch for the light could be knocking itself on and off. my freind had a different model, but the lights came on themselves, , it was a faulty switch , but check the fuse for the lights first,,
