Mend Zanussi TC481W Tumble Dryer Drum Motor

how to fix zanussi tc481w cond/t/dryer, type ztw0127, prod 916720044/00?

my tumble dryer is producing heat but the drum is not moving. i can rotate the drum by hand, although quite hard. any ideas as to whether this can be mended. thanks

HI - IT WAS THE BELT AND NOW HAVE A REPLACEMENT. IT HAS GONE AROUND THE LARGE DRUM AND AROUND THE SMALL BLACK WHEEL BUT THERE DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE ENOUGH TENSION TO ACTUALLY DRIVE THE DRUM. ONCE AGAIN YOUR HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

many thanks for help. can,t do it yet as husband gone away until this weekend and i am full of flu and haven't got the energy but will try your solution when he get back.

sounds like belt has snapped.take 2 screws out of lid and remove it.is there a black belt around drum and is it in one piece?
