How do I fix my jammed VHS cassette?

Very simply it can be repaired with good old fashioned sellotape. The tape should be stuck to the shiny side of the tape (not the dull side) with no sticky edges...so a sharp knife will be needed to trim the edge. As for the video tape itself....the correct way to to cut it in order to splice it back together is diagonally. Cut a little of each broken edge at 45 degrees so that they join neatly together with no gap and it will play fine. Alternately find an old fashoined film splicer and use that.
