clutch renault espace 1999 2.2td?

hi steve do you think it could be possible to convert in to a cable system rather than a master and slave i to have a 2000 espace and the master cylinder as failed i have a friend who is a engineer and thinks it could be done but im not sure it would be great if you have any knowlage of this or maybe know where and if you could buy a conversion kit

Drill a hole in the union on the slave cylinder ,tap it out and put a bleader in !
Blead the system and hey presto

Hi i have a 2000 espace
which has a resovoir but no bleed nipple! will it purge the air out on installation of a secondhand master cylinder?
if not how can it be installed? as it has to be passed throught the bulk head and joined in the middle.
any help would be greatly appreciated

It is a sealed and non adjustable hydraulic pipe with the master and slave cylinders attached to it. replacement part is around £300 and it takes around 3.5 hours to do the job if you know what you are doing as it involves removing most of the dashboard. Don't let it drag on as you will damage the syncro by crunching the gears and it will eventually fail totally and possibly leave you stranded. good luck steve
