LDV van bonnet locked?

my van s bonnet is locked as the release handle does not work.how do i access the engine, relase the bonnet?

lower grille is only pegs located in grommets, so you could try gently pulling grille up to release pegs and you may be able to see where cable fixes to catch and give it a pull.also headlights are on ball type fittings so you you could pull out headlight and you may gain access this way,
