Cleaning behind control panel perspex?

How can I remove the control panel perspex to clean behind it.
I have removed a number of screws around the side of the ceramic top and under the control panel. The panel is loose but I cannot free it to clean behind as there is some white powdery marks appeared on one of the control displays.

messy job not really DIY both cooker side panels have to be removed and then the hob top released .{turn power off to cooker} then the facia panel screws can be removed one each left and right and 3 going upwards from under the panel . re-assemble in reverse order .
