common problem you need a new heat element then it will work! i had the same problem as you and changed heat element and now works

first check you havent got a reset stat look for a red or black button sometimes they have a rubber guard over them and press it in if you hear a click then it had tripped and now should work ok if not you need to check heating element and thermastats.
