I have been given a brother VX691 what is the correct tension?

Nice machine that one, make sure that when you thread the machine the presser foot is up so the thread goes between the tensions discs, top tension between 4 and 6, bottom tension should be enough to pull the thread through with some resistence, if it is too loose tighten the screw on the bobbin case clockwise about a quarter of a turn, any problems let me know.
