May be way of here, but I know of a hidden menu you can access through the information screen, amongst other things in there is a option to turn off the seat belt warning, and also a signal set menu, you may be able to tinker and rectify your fault. To access..

Start engine
Turn of radio
Press info button (hold down)
Turn volume ctrl knob 30 clicks up or down
Hear bleep, hidden menu appears.
