Mend Nissan K11 Micra Light

nissan micra reversing light?

Hi the reversing light onmy 96 micra has packed up.The bulbis ok and I dont thinkthat there is a fuse for it (but not that sure) Assuming the worst that there is a switch somwhere ???? any ideas gratefully recieved. MOT due next week !!!!

Nissan Nissan K11 Vehicles, Cars Nissan Micra Light

The switch is on the rear near side of the gearbox. Undo the connector and short out the reverse light connections (refer to Haynes manual as K11 has 4 connections). If reverse lights comes on wiring and fuse are ok. I have had three micras with same problem but switch costs £35 and gearbox needs to be drained to fit
