How can I fix my Nissan micra 54 reg interior light?

The light works when manually switched on but doesn't when switched to operate when doors opened

It is very difficult to determine electrical problems like your as the interior lights on modern motors incorporate central locking/timers/ECU`s etc,it may be possible to get it onto the correct computer and on there are usually operations where you can operate all your door locks/lights etc and can narrow down your fault to a certain spot.
