help with mending my washer?

my washing comes out with black spots on we have just put new bearings in but the bearing keeps coming out and leaking slightly is there a part missing, when the bearings were going i had bits of of metal in my washing the drum is ok thanks bridie

Did you replace the rubber seal which prevents water entering the bearings. The metal fragments may have been the remains of a circlip which held the inner bearing in place. Without it the bearing will jump out of its recess.
