Mend Hoover 550 MA Appliance Draining Water

Hoover 550 MA Washing Machine keeps draining?

My Hoover MA Washine Machine is only a few years old and it has started to drain by itself, just drains the water as its filling up. I've tried it on all settings and still does it. Hopefully i get more than a few years out of it?

hi christine. your problem is self siphonage. the drain hose is pushed too far down the drain pipe. pull it back up so the end of hose is only a couple of inches from top of drain pipe. check out www.2ndwave.co.uk/manual/
