Mend Indesit WG1030 Washing Machine Belt Noise

indesit wg1030?

my machine is making a crunching noise?? the belt has snapped and the drum doesn't make a noise anymore. do you think the belt was the problem or is it through something else?

my indesit wg1030 will only spin on 1000 spin now and again does anyone know wot the problem is?

thanks for replying, the drum was making a noise if i rotated it manually so i adjusted the belt. the noise went but so did the belt soon after!!!

Sounds like a bearing problem in the drum. turn the drum by hand - it should rotate smoothly. if not the bearings need replaced. check out www.2ndwave.co.uk/manual.html
